Safe Routes to School Project
This Federally Funded project removed, replaced and added a number of concrete curb ramps, and installed portions of new curb, gutter and sidewalk. Work occurred in multiple locations throughout Town and improvements were related to pedestrian improvements for school traffic. Traffic signal improvements and existing striping were also replaced, and various utility covers and frames will be adjusted to the finished grade of the new sidewalk. Work required closely monitoring daily traffic control as all the improvement work took place in the local neighborhoods close to busy school traffic locations.
